Boys & Girls Club in Downtown Cincinnati Paint Back to School Accessories

It's only fitting that the debut of the 'Look Who's Painting' feature is all about kids. Thomas and Claire would be proud. Kamara and her seven of her friends at the Boys & Girls Club in downtown Cincinnati are painting during their art hour after school.

Thaddeus Williams, in-house art director, selected bookmarks and magnets as a theme given the start of school. From small animal figurines to sports related shapes, they selected their favorites and got painting.

"The Boys & Girls Clubs are painting as a result of the generosity of our consumers", said Kristin Marshall, Founder of ThomasClaire. "Our consumers send back their un used paints and gently used brushes—we add some pottery and Thaddeus puts them to good use. Our partnership is a win-win for all."

"We are so honored to collaborate with ThomasClaire.com to introduce our Club Members to pottery and continue to foster the appreciation of art in our Club members," said Lawra Baumann, President & CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati provide daily afterschool and summer programming for over 11,000 children between the ages of 6 and 18 at seven locations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
